Essex Gliding Club launches two seater and single seater sailplanes from Ridgewell airfield by winch and aerotow.
The club is East of Haverhill, SW of Clare and North of Sible Hedingham:

The club is run by its members and flys Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays when the weather is suitable.
Trial lessons and Tuition is available from our British Gliding Association qualified instructors
The club may be closed during winter when the grass airfield becomes boggy.
